In 2011, a small group of friends stepped out in faith to plant True Hope Church. Today, more than 2,000 people worship together weekly, with thousands calling it home. We believe God is leading us again—into the future—with bold and generous faith.

THE VISION

FOLLOW is a three-year generosity initiative that is about more than just True Hope. Together, we will commit to supporting God’s mission, shaping future generations in Spokane and across the globe. We are stepping out to follow Jesus for my church, for our city and for the world.

 

FOR MY CHURCH

We are enlarging our footprint to impact more lives, by increasing our capacity to develop 3,000 disciples each Sunday. We are continuing the legacy of equipping people to FOLLOW Jesus in the heart of Spokane.

 

RESPONDING TO WHAT GOD IS ALREADY DOING

Since 2021, True Hope has more than doubled in attendance. Community groups are exploding. More people are making the decision to be baptized than ever before. People are finding their way back to God.

The growth we are seeing at True Hope is exciting and it is important that we don’t miss this moment! Having a building that fits our growing church is crucial to make sure each person is discipled well.

THE DETAILS

  • We are increasing Sunday capacity from 440 to 916 seats! Each of these seats will be a good seat, positioned to have the best viewing and listening experience.

  • With more than double the lobby space, there will be more opportunities for connection before and after each Sunday gathering.

  • Our new spacious entrance will improve traffic flow and help us warmly welcome our church.

  • This unique space, adjacent to the auditorium, will be used for extended prayer opportunities on Sundays and throughout the week.

  • This project also includes increased KIDS classrooms, 16 new bathroom stalls, and expanded parking opportunities.

 
 

MORE THAN JUST A BUILDING

We want to be a church that is not solely focused inward on our needs. That is why we are also committing to fuel local and global missions.

 

FOR OUR CITY

FOLLOW is about more than just True Hope. We impacting our 250,000 neighbors by being a church that is not just in our city, but for our city.

 
 
 

FOR THE WORLD

The call to FOLLOW Jesus invites us to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Together, we will support trusted missions partners to create 10 million missional moments, from sustaining meals to smuggled Bibles.

 
 
 

OUR GOALS

We’ve set three goals to help us accomplish our vision of 3,000 disciples developed, 250,000 neighbors impacted, and 10 million missional moments created.

  1. 100% participation from people who call True Hope home.

  2. $5 million raised in 3 years in generous gifts that go above and beyond regular tithes.

  3. Invest $1 million of the $5 million into local and global missions partners.

Commitment Sunday was on November 16, 2025. More than 375 families participated in a one-time offering and made a three-year monthly pledge that is above and beyond their regular tithe.

But, we still need more support to hit our goal.

  • This initiative is called FOLLOW because that’s our posture: to hear and obey Jesus’ voice and follow Him with all our hearts. Over the next three years, this will look like us believing for $5 million to expand our facility, which will make room for more people to find their way back to God.

  • After filling out a commitment card on Sunday, November 16, you are invited to go online to set up recurring giving. Log on to truehopechurch.org/follow and navigate to GIVE TO FOLLOW. 

    • Click the drop down for FOLLOW. 

    • Choose a gift frequency: one-time gift or a regular gift.

      • If you would like to make both types of gifts, please submit two separate form

    • Fill out your payment information.

  • No, during this three-year initiative, we invite you to give above and beyond your regular tithes. Consistent tithing remains essential to support the church’s ongoing ministry and operations.

  • FOLLOW’s first goal is 100% participation from True Hope. It’s less about the amount and more about surrendering every part of our lives, including our finances, to Him.

  • We encourage you to start with tithing regularly! Responding to God’s call to tithe 10% of your income is essential to exercising the muscle of generosity. From there, we encourage you to step out in faith and be a part of FOLLOW, leaving a generational impact in your church, our city and the world.
